Plume Launches nBND Vault Backed by Fidelity Bond ETF Shares
Plume's new nBND vault tokenizes shares of Fidelity's Total Bond ETF, extending institutional-grade fixed income exposure onto its Open Finance platform.
Plume, an Open Finance platform focused on institutional assets, announced Monday the launch of its nBND vault, a tokenized product backed by shares of the Fidelity Total Bond ETF (NASDAQ: FBND), a move the company says advances the role of tokenization in global financial markets.
The Fidelity Total Bond ETF is an actively managed fund that allocates across investment-grade bonds, high-yield debt, and emerging markets fixed-income securities, giving the underlying vault exposure to a diversified range of credit instruments through a single on-chain vehicle.

The launch reflects a broader industry push to bring conventional asset management products onto blockchain-based infrastructure, allowing institutional and sophisticated investors to access familiar fixed-income strategies in tokenized form. Plume's platform positions itself as a bridge between traditional capital markets and on-chain finance.
By anchoring the nBND vault to an established, actively managed ETF from one of the world's largest asset managers, Plume is signaling a preference for regulated, recognizable underlying assets as the tokenization sector seeks credibility with mainstream institutional allocators.
